Tegan, childcare in Corby

My name is Tegan and I am 23 years old. I have a very bubbly, caring personality and I am enthusiastic and positive in everything I do. My passion is childcare and have worked in this sector since I started my college course when I was 17. After a year of college, I was offered an apprenticeship in a nursery setting to complete my level 3 early years diploma qualification. I chose this option as it meant learning on the job and it gave me the opportunity to gain much more experience and knowledge in a setting with children of all ages (3 months-11 years). After completing my qualification, I continued to work at the setting until September 2019, and in October 2019 I set off on my travels to Australia. Whilst I was in Australia, I wanted new experiences therefore took on a new opportunity to be a live in au pair for a 3 month old baby. This was from 6am-6pm and included all duties from general care, to carrying out age appropriate activities to support the baby’s development. Unfortunately, due to covid, I had to return back to the UK sooner than expected and in April 2020 went back to the setting I had previously worked at to be a room manager until December 2020 when I found out I would be having a baby myself due in august 2021!
As I am pregnant, I am looking to support families who need temporary help with baby sitting/mother’s help over the next few months.
