My name is Melissa and I've been a nanny for the past four years now and I'm still enjoying it
I’m a hardworking, polite, patient, reliable, friendly person with an outgoing personally and a calming nature. I have 13 years’ experience in childcare working with children aged 4 months-7 years caring for children in nurseries, schools, babysitting and more recently nannying. I am passionate about my job as a nanny as I really enjoy working with children as I get a sense of achievement to see them grow and develop throughout the years. I’m also a good communicator, work well as a team, and follow instructions. Because of my skills, I was made third in charge in a nursery that I’ve worked in as they could see the confidence that I have, my organisational skills, able to make decisions, delegate jobs to staff, my ability to work as a team and being trustworthy. This is resulted in me being appointed to oversee the nursery whenever the manager and deputy manager are both out of the nursery.

I really enjoy nannying as this has given me the opportunity to use my skills to plan a day to day routine for the children around their interests and development.
