Claire, childcare - CW5 Blakenhall

Hi my name is Claire. I have many years experience working with children aged 2-16 as a childcare practitioner and have also raised 4 children of my own.

I managed a preschool for two years when my children were younger and then progressed to work for the local authority as a Childcare Development Worker where I advised early years settings and after school clubs on standards of care and supported them through quality award schemes. More recently I provided behaviour support in High School alongside emotional support.

I am looking to provide part time care, preferably as a 'mother's help' with children of any age and am willing to undertake tasks as appropriate to the day to day running of the home.I am a qualified counsellor and have an up to date CRB check. I am creative and love to make things but am very fond of being outside with children and providing experiential learning. I have experience of supporting children with additional needs and of differentiating tasks/games.

I am trustworthy, hardworking and flexible with a great zest for fun. I feel I would be a great asset to a busy family.
