I am hardworking, flexible, creative and enthusiastic. I am looking to expand my current knowledge by progressing on to new areas. With good people skills I can work well as a team member or by using my own initiative as well as dealing with pressured situations in a calm, sensible manner.
I strongly believe it is important to safeguard children to the best of my ability. With knowledge on basic safeguarding policies I am aware on how to follow initial steps when a concern arises. I am also aware on the importance of confidentiality and how to ensure data is kept confidential.
I strongly believe that the people around children have a huge influence their growth and development in their early years. I am calm, motivated and caring in which I believe are important factors to have as a practitioner’s role. I believe that it is such a reward to be a part of the learning and development of a child. In which appropriate play and activities can be provided to meet each child’s needs and interests. I thrive on promoting independency and the importance of valuing each child as an individual in which every child is unique.
I believe that with my past work experiences I can adapt easily when working with children of different ages. I also believe that these experiences have provided me with a wide range of skills and qualities that are needed within this role.
