Ellie, childcare in Edinburgh

Hi there! 👋 My name is Ellie and I am a passionate nanny with a variety of experiences in childcare! 🧒

I have taught drama and singing to children at Spotlight Performing Arts back in New Zealand 🎭 and I absolutely love it! I find it so rewarding to see kids express themselves creatively and gain confidence through the performing arts.

In addition to my teaching experience, I also worked as an afterschool care manager for a program with up to 50 children. 🏫 This role taught me how to manage large groups of children, as well as how to handle any challenges that may arise.

Safety is always a top priority for me, and I am proud to hold a first aid certificate and a driver's license. 🚗

Prior to my work in childcare, I was a marketing advisor for the Ministry for Children in New Zealand. 💼 While I enjoyed my previous career, I recently decided to follow my passion for working with children and retrain to become a teacher. 📚

As part of my journey, I owned my own children's party business where I dressed up as princesses and entertained at parties 🎉. It was so much fun, and it taught me how to keep kids engaged and having a great time.

I am 27 years old, and recently moved out of the corporate world to pursue my passion for childcare. 💕 I am excited about the opportunity to bring my diverse experiences and love for children to your family as a nanny.
