Elle, childcare in Edinburgh EH9

Hi, my name is Elle and I'm a physics student currently live in Edinburgh. I grew up in a small town with one older and two younger brothers. This taught me to take part in and enjoy all activities (not just ones aimed at girls) and also gave me a thick skin! My youngest brother has only just turned 7, so I have lots of experience looking after him ever since he was born, along with 3 of my younger cousins.

All my life I have been drawn to things (and people) that make me smile, hence I have taken dance classes since I could first walk. It taught me more than I can even imagine, including teamwork, discipline, empathy and has been a great way to make friends. I have continued this passion at university but in the form of cheerleading. I have found the team spirit and the pure joy/fun to be such a great motivation.

As a highly driven, upbeat person, I love completing any challenge that comes my way with enthusiasm, confidence and I always make sure I find the fun in things. From a young age, I have loved nurturing/caring for others and like helping and seeing people achieve their goals. So during my years at school, I volunteered to help younger pupils improve their maths and literacy skills on behalf of the pupil support department. Seeing the pupils I mentored improve over the years, and reach their targets gave me a great sense of pride and we ended up with a great bond. I have also tutored people in physics and maths, helping them study for their exams and this was also a very rewarding experience. I have kept in contact with these students as I love to see their progression even without my help.
