Hi, I am a young 19 year old girl. I absoloutley adore working with children and its something I have wanted to do since I myself was a little girl. Ive always had babysitting jobs since I was 14 and can provide at least 4 references for people I have done babysitting for. I also drive which I think is an added bonus as it means I can get out and about with children as well as dropping off or picking up from school. As of yet, I do not have a specific 'child care' qualification but I have got a diploma in health and social care D*D*D, and in September 2016 I am going on to study early childhood education. My qualities which I believe make me a good child carer is that the children will always come first (of course), theyre safety and happiness is of utmost priority. I like to think of myself as caring, understaning as well as fun:) Im not one to just stick the TV on and leave them to it I like to get invovled and 'teach' and help them learn whether it be by doing a fun game or helping with homework. I do not have a first aid certificate however, I would be willing to do one. I have got a recent DBS that can be shown on request which was done in 2015 for a different uni course I was doing. Im very flexible with what days and when I can work and I believe myself to be punctual and reliable. I can also cook if needed.
