Amy, childcare - EX8 Exmouth

Hello, I'm Amy, I'm currently studying level 3 health and social care course and I hope to become a student midwife next year. I have finished my course until September so I'm able to work full time until then. I'm looking to care for children of any years, I have experience with children and babies from the ages of 3 weeks old to 13 years old and I am also DBS checked and I have a certificate to show. I have good health, I am dependable, responsible and patient, caring, fun, understanding, I love children of all ages, im understanding, self-confident, mature, have good manners, I'm safety conscious and also very adaptable. I worked as a teaching assistant in a primary school for 6 months, with children in nursery/foundation, year 1, 3 and 5. I have also babysat for my cousins and younger brothers, as well as my friends children. These ages range from 3 weeks old to 13 years old and I have looked after these children through nights, a few days, morning, day and evening times, I am fully flexible. I love seeing the children develop new skills and watch their development increase. I think it's important for the children to play games in which increase their gross and fine motor skills as well as their intellectual, social and emotional development but in fun and exciting ways. I don't drive but I'm currently learning and taking lessons. I have experience with many different games as well as phonics, maths, English and science lessons so I am able to help with homework if necessary.
