Dear host family,
I am looking for another job as a babysitter preferably over the weekend. Currently I am studying psychology in Glasgow while working as a nanny for a family with three kids on three days per week. Since I am a German native, I am perfectly fluent in English and German.
Before my start at university I have worked in New Zealand as an au pair and self-enployed nanny. During my year there I gained a range of experience because I looked after different kids aged from 0, 5 to 12 years. Overall I have worked for more than 5 families. My duties included holiday care, school care as well as weekend and overnight babysitting. Also, I am happy to help out with household duties, such as cooking, laundry, cleaning.
I feel very confident in my job as a nanny and enjoy the work a lot. My friends desscribe me as outgoing, positive and talkative. My former employers have especially valued my enthusiasm and reliability. I always try to give my best effort and keep on improving. The most important thing to me is that you are happy with my work.
In my free time I enjoy meeting friends and being outdoors. I played the violin for 12 years, so music counts to my big passions. Beside, I am interested in arts and dancing. Further, I put emphasis on a healthy lifestyle including healthy food, no smoking and being active.
In my work with kids I value to build up trust, give them space to explore and express themselves but also setting rules to set a frame.
