Hi,
I am experienced carer for both children and adults for over thirty years. I began my career as a Registered Nurse for Learning Disabilities, and have remained in this type of work every since. I have worked both in residential settings, care homes, primary schools and respite services, and am currently working part-time as a support worker for three girls with learning disabilities. I have one daughter, and I have two small grandchildren, one of whom has autism, am physically fit and active, and really enjoy looking after children of all ages and abilities. Having supported children in primary school, I am happy to help with homework and other activities, and offer support for children of all abilities, including children with special needs.
I am reliable and flexible, and have a current DBS certificate. I live near Lancaster and have my own transport, and have no criminal convictions.
