Jenna, childcare in Garvock

I am a 27 year old female who is very approachable, kind caring and fun loving person. I have studied and gained my HNC in Early Educaiton and childcare at college and followed that up with almost two years volutary experience at Hillend Children's centre. During my time at hillend I worked with children from 2 years to five years of age. In my current role at Reach for Autism I work with children from 5 years of age to 18 years of age and I have worked here since Janurary this year.

I have purchased and completed 5 online training modules delivered by the natioanal Autistic society which expalins struggles children on the autism spectrum could have and ways to support these struggles.

Both at Hillend and at REACH I have sucessfully suppervised and played with both a group of children and specific children on a one to one basis. At reach we play games with the kids such as time bomb, tig, hide and seek with objets such as pictures/logos and the real hide and seek. At hillend we played games with a ball and a parachute and games like duck duck goose and so on.

I love working with and supporting children of all ages and abilities and supporting parents weather it be giving families a well earned break from thier little treasures at the weekends, or providing childcare for working parents during the week.
