Emily, childcare in Gateford

Hello. I am a 23 year old young woman, living in the Gateford area of Worksop.
I am looking to offer my help/care to families looking for a bit more support in their day to day lives. I feel that I have always been able to get on well with young children and love to take care of them. I understand the importance of structure in some families, and will always ensure I try my hardest to stick to that. Whether it means, a certain bed time or homework time, then I believe I would be able to enforce those rules, in an approachable manner, with the children still feeling like they can enjoy themselves with me too.
I have had previous work experience in the past, working in a Primary school. I would often take a few children out of class and help them individually with their work. We would always have a laugh at the same time as the work getting finished. It was always rewarding when I would see them smiling and pleased that they had completed all their work on time.
I am a very understanding young woman, always happy to listen to children's stories (however exaggerated sometimes!) and would always want to create a friendship with any child I was caring for.

I do think children can benefit from structure in their lives, whether it is homework or a bed time, but I also believe in having fun whenever possible and if a child was in my care, then I would want to leave them, knowing we have had a great day and they are happy.
