My name is Caitlin and I'm 14 and looking for a job after school, weekends and during school holidays. I have a few younger siblings and cousins so i have experience looking after children. i don't mind pets or anything and i don't smoke, drink or swear. Everyone always says i am naturally good with children.
The law does not specify how old someone has to be to babysit. However, the NSPCC recommends that no one under 16 should be left alone to look after young children. If someone under 16 is looking after a child, the parent or guardian, and not the babysitter, remain legally responsible for the child's safety.
