Becky, childcare - GL1 Gloucester

My name is Becky and I'm 25 years old, I am outgoing, enthusiastic person who loves the outdoors and spending time with my husband. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, I am a social person and enjoy spending time to get to know the people I am around.
I am currently working with children in a residential setting where their parents are unable to be a role in their lives, as a care worker I provide this for them and help them with every part of daily life such as cooking, cleaning, washing, providing them with medical appointments when needed as well as administrating medications.
I have worked with children for 9 years within the ages of 0-18 years, I have a good understanding of the EYFS and I am keen to provide all children with activities which will help them learn and develop skills to help them to become happy, energetic young people.
I am looking at changing my career as there is no progression for me at my current job, I have been in care work for 9 years and during this 9 years I have completed an NVQ level 3 in early years and I am keen to learn and complete any qualifications which will help with my knowledge and understanding in a new role.
