Hello parents!
I’m Tapiwa. I’m a new, first-time mum to my baby boy who is now 5 months old. I started working within the childcare industry when I was 16 years old. At that time I was just starting my aspiring career as a qualified nanny, so I would look after my family members (cousins and family friends) as much as I could. By the time I turned 20 I had already worked as a full time teaching assistant in the reception class at my old primary school, worked in a few day nurseries as a qualified nursery nurse in the baby and toddler room, worked as a full time childminders assistant with children aged 8 months to 8 years, and also manage to study an apprenticeship in Children and Young People’s Workforce, and to complete my paediatric first aid course.
Ideally I would like a babysitting role, just as I have my son aswell.
