Crystal, childcare - GU14 Farnborough green

Hello there,

I am Crystal.

I enjoy travelling which has been a fortunate experience in working with children of all kinds of backgrounds and languages. I took a year out as an aupair in The Netherlands and thoroughly enjoyed it. I babysat a little girl from the age of 10 months and soon became part of the family.
Soon after that, I went to university to study Childhood Studies which included placements. I worked in a nursery for 2 years and did a placement in a primary school.
I enjoy both environments but I feel children can learn more out of a school platform as sometimes there might be too many restrictions. Things as simple as getting dirty in playing in mud or going out to explore the rain a bit more can be drastically minimised in a school setting. I find it so rewarding to watch a child develop and make an positive impact in their lives.
