The gentle man also had no speech, and Sarah taught herself Makaton to enable her to converse with her client. Sarah is patient and responsive- caring and informative. She regularly sought advice when unsure, displaying a level headed maturity. I can only give you positive feedback about Sarah, it was a real shame that she left the scheme. This was pre-empted by Sarah herself, who said that she felt she was beginning to become complacent and thought it would be best to move on.
