Ashleigh, childcare in Huddersfield HD1

My name is Ashleigh and i am a 20 year female student.

I am currently at University in Huddersfield studying costume with textiles in my final year.

I am originally from Ongar in Essex, and am part of a large family with two brothers and three sisters and so know what it is like to be part of a very hectic household! I have three nieces and two nephews all ranging from ages 6months-13 and over the years i have spent as much time with them as i possibly can, babysitting and helping out a lot! I absolutely love children, and and i would show your children and family the same love and care that i do my own.

I am a lively and fun person and have bundles of energy to bring into your home. I am a very creative person, i make a lot of my own clothes and would take great pleasure in setting up fun and creative activities for your children. There would be no shortage of fun energy and I would go above and beyond in my role to make sure that i established the best possible relationship with your children so that they would feel comfortable with me.

In my last job working for Essex County Council i was a Chef at Danbury Outdoors Centre, and would cook for up to 650 children on activity and school breaks three meals a day. This job gave me a lot of experience in interacting with hundreds of children on a day to day basis, and i learnt a lot about how to make them feel comfortable and safe whilst away from their parents for in many cases the first time. I got an incredible amount of pleasure out of my time there, and had a lot of fun with the children especially those that were there for a whole week and that we had time to create bonds with.

As you may see from my CV, a lot of my work experience is as a chef and in catering and so i would be very comfortable with the cooking duties included. I have a lot of experience in catering for children, including working as a nursery chef providing a baby weening menue. I have also catered for those with severe allergies and dietary needs, and so this would be something that i would also bring to the role. Preparing tasty and healthy meals is something that i would be more than happy to do.
Helping out around the house would be absolutely fine, as i have no issues in mucking in with the day to day running and maintenance of your home whenever this was needed.
I would also be happy to provide care within my own home if this was required.
