Charlie, childcare in Barnwood

My name is Charlie, I'm 25 year old female living in Gloucester. I have a Diploma in Sports coaching, develop and fitness and a degree in Physical Education (BSc Hons).

Currently working at a secondary school, supporting children between 11-16 year olds with their emotional and education needs and 1:1 mentoring Monday - Friday

On the weekends I work occasionally on Saturday morning as a creche activities leader at a local gym. My duties within the creche are childcare for newborns to 2 years old. As well as supervising free play and leading classroom and sporting activities ( This was my previous full time employment for 2 years before getting a job in a school)

I have years of experience working with children working in Sports coaching, summer camps, childcare, primary school placements and secondary schools.

I am available to work after school, occasional weekends and school holidays. I have first aid and safeguarding training with work and a current DBS ( police check).

My qualities are; Good sense of humour and like to be active, I have empathy with all the children I work with. I have a great responsibility and duties within the two jobs I have. I can work independently and as part of large team. Good listening skills and problem solving skills from mentoring with the students. I have the ability to adapt my skills to meet childrens differing needs.
