Charlotte, childcare in Battle

Hello,

My name is Charlotte I am 17 years old and I am currently studying a Level 3 Childcare course which I will finish in April/May 2016. I will then be 18 years old and seeking a live-out nanny position within 20 miles of me. I am learning how to drive at the moment so I should have my driving license by April 2016 (at the latest).

I am currently studying a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator) and I am predicted to get Distinction* Distinction Distinction (D*DD). By the end of my course I would have done work experience in six different settings from 0-5 years, where I have observed the children, planned activities, helped out the staff and general care of the children. At the moment I have a Child Protection Certificate Levels 1 & 2 but by the end of my course I will also have a Paediatric 4 hour First Aid, Sign Language, Leadership Skills, Behaviour Management Skills, Playwork, Communication, Food Safety and Hygiene, and Makaton certificates. I am also looking to be Ofsted registered when I turn 18.

I have babysat for children aged 1-14 years and I have volunteered with Brownies for 8-11 year olds. I have done some paid work at a nursery during the summer of 2015 with 0-4 year olds and I have experience with twins. If you are interested in your child learning a language then I would be more than happy to teach them some German as my level is moderate or if your child struggles to communicate very well I will be able to teach them some sign language. (Or the very basics of any other language).

I absolutely love children and I love to make every day exciting for children by giving them so many new opportunities and experiences in their life. As a nanny I would take your child(ren) out as much as I could (with your permission of course!) so that they can experience how fun the outdoors can be. Even if money is limited there are plenty of things we can do for free! I would write down what we did each day for you to read and talk to you about the next day's adventure! Even if we are stuck inside all day due to England's classic weather...there are so many activities I can do with your children. I hope you would consider me for a position and I look forward to speaking to you.
