Hello

I am 40 and currently working as a Nanny in the Malone area for two young children. One is 6 years old and in Primary 2, the other is 8 years old. I also babysit for other families at a rate of £10 per hour.

I joined TINIES Childcare Agency in September 2014 and have therefore been Police Checked, Interviewed and also had reference checks carried out. I hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate. In addition I am on the books of 'The Nanny Company.'

I also have a Teaching Degree and thoroughly enjoy working with and looking after children of all ages. In relation to babysitting/mother or fathers help, I do what I can to ensure the children in my care are safe and happy.

I currently have four families I babysit for fairly regularly so it's really first come first serve. Some book in advance or simply last minute and I'll work if available.

My hours of availability are as follows:

Monday: all day.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. - finish work at 5:30pm therefore available after until late.

Saturday: Available all day.

Sunday: Available all day.

With new families, I am happy to have an interview/chat with yourself in person or by phone (often both) and thereafter offer a free one hour play/craft session with the child/children to see if we bond.

I give the children in my care 100% attention. I choose age-appropriate activities: such as, constructive, imaginative, creative and outdoor play, if appropriate. I enjoy arts and crafts and getting messy isn't a problem! I interact with the children where possible and help them to reach their milestones. Encouraging language is very important to me and therefore I interact a lot with the children in my care.

Explanation:

I currently charge £10 per hour. I feel this price reflects the care I give.

If the child/children are settled and asleep I am happy to do some light housework or prepare meals for the days ahead.

I am also prepared to look after a child if they unwell. If, at any time however their condition concerns me, other arrangements would have to be made.

I am extremely attentive to the children in my care and their health, happiness and safety is paramount at all times.
