Abigail, childcare in Carlton

I am currently studying Childcare at college, therefore also have a complete DBS check. I have experience with supporting young people with special educational needs such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Development Delay, and general mental health struggles. I have 6 siblings so have a lot of experience with play, and am also able to calm children down if they’re stressed or worried. I can cook meals, and am willing to help with bath and bed times. I will be happy to take the child out to places such as the park or the cinema, and will let them choose activities. I have very good patience, and am also in the process of learning basic makaton. I support my young cousin who is 3 years old and non-verbal autistic, and also my sibling who struggles with Global Development Delay. I take time to listen to young people and try to meet their needs as much as possible.
