Erin, childcare in Castlereagh

Hi there! My name is Erin and I am currently in upper sixth studying Art and Design, Psychology and Health and Social Care at Grosvenor Grammar. I have taken on several roles volunteering with primary aged children as I love the fun and rewarding experience of helping and playing with kids in that age group, although I am equally as happy to care for older or younger children. I hope to gain a career in child care or children's art therapy after university. I currently volunteer at a homework club on a Wednesday after school, so would have no problem helping children with homework. I also volunteer at a youth club on a Friday evening in my church, playing games and doing arts and crafts tasks with the kids. I have been in this role for nearly 4 years now and so I have built relationships with the children that attend and I thoroughly enjoy it. I would be happy to play games or try arts and crafts activities of requested. I am free to babysit evenings and weekends, and I do enjoy cooking and often cook dinner for my own family at home so would be more than happy to cook dinner if required. Having had 4 years worth of experience entertaining children, I think I have become a more patient, caring, fun, creative and outgoing individual because of it and I would love the opportunity to babysit any time I am available.
