Shannon, childcare in Chandler's ford

Hello, my name is Shannon , I am 16 and have previously finished secondary school.

Although I am aware that my lack of qualifications may put me at a downfall, I have a lot of effective experience after being the 'go to' babysitter on late notice emergencies and after school/ weekend care. My top priority is to ensure that the children are safe above everything else, but also are having a good time doing what they love, whatever that may be. The children i look after are a range of ages all of different interests which are all individually respected and adapted to.

My older brother has Autism and does require a specific amount of care. This has therefore given me experience in caring for others with certain needs and abilities. I often cook, clean and set an adaptable environment in which makes him happiest. I have a younger sister who suffers from a hearing impairment who does need assistance from time to time in her daily life. Both of my siblings require effective care in which i feel i am able to provide, this has given me a lot of experience on top of occasional babysitting for family friends.

Being a school leaver, i am extremely flexible with times for the next 3 months, i believe that i am easy to approach and get on well with other people. i have lots of experience in sports and teaching other children which only made me more enthusiastic to work with children in the near future and even develop it into a career as a full time nanny one day. I believe that i am responsible and can make the right decisions when needed to. I can be energetic but calm in more serious situations which bodes well in times that it is needed.
