Emma, childcare in East taphouse

Hi,
I’m Emma. I’m 46 years old and I live in Cornwall.
I qualified with an NNEB diploma when I was 18 and went straight into a job with a 4 month old baby boy.
Over the following 10 years I cared predominantly for the children of doctors- ageing between 12months and 15 years, incorporating household cleaning once the children were in nursery/school.
Activities during a typical day would include mumsand tots groups, tumble tots, rhythm time, walks to the park, meeting other nannies and general arty activities at home along with playing age appropriate games- encouraging number & alphabet recognition through play.
I took the children to all after school clubs including tennis, swimming, ballet , athletics & gymnastics. I cooked their evening meals.
At 26 & when my youngest charge was going into full time school, I decided to start my cleaning business which took off immediately. After 3 years my circumstances changed slightly and I decided to part time nanny and cut back on the cleaning. Eventually, I was asked to work full time for the family I was nannying for. I then became their nanny/housekeeper.
I thoroughly enjoyed the majority of my employment and have very fond memories of my years with all my charges.
Fast forward 12 years, I am married to Jon & we have 2 children. Harvey almost 11 & Scarlett almost 10 (13 months apart). I continued to clean on a part time basis.
We moved to Cornwall a year ago.
