Alex, childcare in Essex

Hi, my name is Alex, I am 23 years of age and currently going into my 2nd year of studying Early Childhood Development at the University of Portsmouth.
I have been brought up with my 2 brothers in a child-friendly home, and as my mum is a childminder, helping out with games and caring for kids has always been a regular part of my life. As a natural progression from this, my most recent job was in a preschool in my hometown of Rayleigh. When this opportunity presented itself to me, it felt like the right career choice for me and helped with my decision to study childhood at university. I absolutely loved working at the preschool and it was hard to say goodbye to my colleagues but having a mini graduation for all pre schoolers going into primary school was really fulfilling.
I am quick to pick up on boardgames, and have always owned games consoles so can keep any age range of kids entertained for hours on end.
