Cassie, childcare in Exeter EX2

Hello! Thanks for viewing my profile, heres a bit more about me. Working with children is my biggest passion in life. I spent a year working in a nursery with children aged 6months-5 years. I planned and lead activities every week with small and large groups of children, focusing on different areas of their development through the EYFS. I attended weekly training for a year learning different areas of a child's development and learning to care for children with specific needs. I also got the opportunity to work in the company's after school club with children aged 5-11yrs. I have regularly babysat for families in my area and have thoroughly enjoyed making new friends with both parents and children. My long term career plan is to travel around the world volunteering in different nurseries, schools and orphanages and hopefully one day start up my own. I have recently returned from a two month volunteer trip in Tanzania. I spent my time running classes in a nursery school, helping/living in a children's center and taking part in community projects to help families that are in desperate situations. Through this experience I also gained a lot of confidence in helping children that have come from difficult backgrounds. I am always reliable and will usually be available for last minute/urgent help. My main hobbies are music and being outdoors. I play piano and I'm learning the cello and I have also recently climbed Mount Meru to the summit. I have a intermediate level qualification in Children and
Young People’s Workforce
and I am trained in pediatric First Aid. I have had a DBS check through my previous nursery job. I can guarantee my passion and love for helping children is great.
