Mia, childcare in Exmouth

Hi, my name is Mia. I'm 23 years old and live in Exmouth, Devon, but have my own transport and am willing to travel.

I have looked after young children and babies from a young age within my immediate and extended family and friends, and from the age of 13 have provided paid babysitting for children aged four months - 13 years. During my time at university I provided contracted daytime childcare in the school holidays for four siblings aged 2-11. I also worked for a company running drama clubs for primary school children and am used to working with groups of children.

Since graduating, I worked at a school with children aged 9 - 18 for two years, and have also worked as a private tutor for secondary school children (I am always willing to help with homework where possible!). I have continued to care for children from a very young age upwards and always enjoy the experience.

I have an enhanced DBS certificate and a First Aid qualification; I am acutely aware of the importance of knowing as a parent that your child is always safe and happy, and I pride myself on providing this environment in every role.

I am willing to play games, help with work and chores, go on outings, do school runs, read books, watch films, change nappies, cook, clean, and help out in any other way possible. I am currently available during the daytimes on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Friday mornings, and on evenings and some weekends. I would love to set up a regular position with a family but am also willing to take on one-off positions when necessary.
