Bianca, childcare in Guildford GU1

Hello!
I'm a 22 year old graduate from the University of Kent where I graduated with a 2:1 in English and American Literature and Film Studies. I have spent the last year working towards my masters in Canterbury and when my course finished, I moved to Guildford with my partner in the summer.
I first began childminding in September 2014 as a maternity cover for 8 months and it was then that discovered that I love it!
I looked after a 9 and 12 year old and since have looked after ages 5, 6, 8, 9 and 13 also.
I thoroughly enjoy working with children whether it is helping with homework, planning activities or playing games and I am happy to help out in any other way I can too, such as house work and pick ups/drop offs.
With my own car and a license for almost 5 years, I am an extremely confident driver and able to access all surrounding areas of Guildford if needs be.
I would describe myself as reliable, fun, friendly and helpful and if given the opportunity, I would do all I can to meet your individual requirements.
As a childminder, I can be fun and creative with activities. In the past I have taken the children on walks, to castles, to the cinema and have arranged activities such as baking, arts and crafts and simple board games and film nights! but I am also not afraid to be firm and fair if this is the approach that you desire. I have experience monitoring and checking homework, listening to the children read or play instruments and also reading to them. I can cook and clean and have also had experience providing meals for the children as well as putting them to bed. I have done overnight stays and late nights and will always try to edit my schedule to fit your needs. I am also always happy to try new approaches and I learn and adapt very quickly.
I am happy to partake in a DBS check and will also become Ofsted registered if required.
