Jordan, childcare in Higher gabwell

My name is Jordan . I am 18 and I live in Torquay. I recently completed a Level 3 Childcare qualification and am keen to put that to use. During my time at Sixth Form, I took part in several work experience placements at local nurseries and primary schools which allowed me to gain experience in working with children of all ages from birth-8 years old. I have a younger sister who is 7 who I help to care for and have done since she was born. In the past, I have been responsible for planning activities for children to help them to develop their skills and have been an important part of their physical, cognitive, emotional and social development. I have a good understanding of safeguarding and am aware of how to keep a child safe and away from harm, as well as how to notice any problems that a child may be having and how to deal with them effectively.
