Everybody calls me Vicki, I've always been good with kids even from a very young age I always wanted to "look after" my baby cousin despite being five myself! I am very playful and don't just engage in playing with children because I have to, I love it! I am a giant kid myself but have the responsible abilities of an adult. I have been a nanny to several families over the years and formed strong bonds with all of the family not just the children. I pride myself on not just up and leaving at the end of the day but making sure Mum/Dad know what we've been up to, any worries and of course anything great that has happened. I am only looking into getting back into part time childcare, preferably babysitting, but I will definitely consider part time caring, particularly help with school runs and the time before and after. I have taken a couple of years out due to caring for my terminally ill son, who sadly passed away last year, but I hope this won't sway you in to not hiring me.
I love creative play and sensory play for younger children, finger painting, pasta, etc and love sensory centres. For older children, if they wish to engage in something with me, brilliant! If not then i'm there if they need me, but i will always take on board what their parents want. x
Babysitting ; I've always disagreed with extortionate rates, it is highly unfair due to the nature of, particularly, night time babysitting. I am experienced in childcare and have raised my own child as well, but this is definitely negotiable depending on needs. I am highly qualified with children with additional needs (medical qualifications).
