I am a recent honours graduate of Trinity College Dublin (BA English Literature and French) looking to gain more experience working with children over the Summer before I begin teaching English at a primary and secondary level in Quebec in September.
To date my formal work experience with children and young people has included:
- Volunteering with Fighting Words Belfast running primary school creative writing workshops.
- Planning and delivering primary school arts and crafts workshops at Marsh's Library, Dublin.
- 2 Years mentoring experience at secondary and university level - one on one tutoring and counselling.
- Assisting at Kids Club for Eurocamp in Paris.
- Classroom training with the British Council.
I am an empathetic and enthusiastic person and genuinely enjoy working with children. I have looked after children in my family and those of family friends, and have loved seeing them grow up into bright, bubbly individuals with their own interests and ideas.
