Laura, childcare in London

Hi,
I am Laura, 21 years old and I live in Walthamstow, London. I am german and a very happy girl who likes to help out stressed parents who need sometimes a break.
Right now, I'm attending a 1 year course at LSDA (London School of Dramatic Arts, ... yeah I know :P) in South Kensington and to afford some extra things I want to start babysitting.
I have a lot of experience with babysitting and taking care of children. My neighbours in Germany have three girls aged around 10/14 and I have been watching them for seven years. I cooked for them, got them ready for and bring them to bed. We also did homework together. I have learned much from them, such as how to deal with illnesses. However, I've worked in nurserys for some weeks with children aged 2-4 years, too. I learned a lot about "learning by playing", and about the easier way to support and help children to understand.

And my biggest experience til now is: Aupairing. Before I moved to London I stayed at my hostfamily for nearly 15 months. (That's one reason why I wanted to stay in England) They are living in Buckinghamshire and I still have contact with them. I had 2 children, a boy now 4 years old and a girl (almost) 8 years old. We had so much fun together. I did the school run, picked them up, spent the afternoon together and cooked for them. Sometimes I had to babysit and bring them to bed, too. It was such a great experience and I would do it again if I could. I was a 2nd mum, big sister, teacher, nanny and chef - I've learned more in a year than anywhere else.
