I am a South African graduate that is now living in the U.K. I hold a British passport and am able to work here.
I have a passion with working with children, being outdoors, fostering creativity and remembering the importance of play every day. I am disciplined and resilient as well as good with people. I have had many years of childcare experience - both au pairing for families and babysitting. I spent one year in Spain living and working with a family with 3 kids and besides that have 6 years experience in schools and with various families - have many references if needed.
I like to ensure that each child gets individual attention as well as learns to play together well. I enjoy making the child happy by concentrating on the things they enjoy to do and allow them to fully experience what they can to do that. I enjoy being outside, going for walks, doing a lot of art work and possibly even cooking/baking together. Children are an amazing window to the world where we can gain as much precious knowledge from them as much as they can from us. It is important to keep their imagination alive and let them be their age. I am compassionate, gentle and when needed, am able to discipline them.
