Hi! I’m Poppy/Asher , a Psychology undergraduate at Nottingham Trent University with hands-on experience supporting children in nursery and special educational needs (SEN) settings.
I’m looking to provide babysitting or part-time childcare for families who want a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for their children.
As a childcarer, I’m patient, responsible, and creative, with strong skills in safeguarding, positive behaviour management, and child development. I enjoy creating fun, educational experiences — from storytelling, art projects, and outdoor play to group games that encourage cooperation and social growth.
At Treasure Nursery, I worked with 2–3-year-olds and summer school children, leading interactive sessions to foster communication, confidence, and creativity. I also supported children with additional needs, using positive reinforcement and modelling to promote inclusion and independence.
My SEN experience at Meadowhead School involved working closely with students who faced academic, emotional, or behavioural challenges. I provided one-on-one and small-group support, helping children with various disabilities and neurodiverse needs build communication, focus, and confidence — ensuring every child felt seen, supported, and encouraged.
I’m independent, highly motivated, and adaptable, with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills — all reinforced by my academic background in psychology and child behaviour.
If you’re looking for a trustworthy, caring babysitter who genuinely enjoys helping children learn, play, and thrive, I’d love to hear from you!
