I am a 36 year old female, I previously work in a private day nursery which I have been part of for 17 years.
I hold a full UK driving license which I have held for the past 10 years and have the use of my own car.
I have been on various courses such as safeguarding, leading on language, tiny talk and autism courses.
I hold a valid first aid and food hygiene certificates.
Some weekends and evenings I babysit children who have been to the nursery which I work.
I have had experience of looking after two children in their home gor 5 days, this has excluded getting them ready for school, drop of and pick up, providing meals including packed lunches, taking them to after school activities such as swimming and dance, and then putting them to bed.
The weekends involved indoor and outdoor activities, such as trips to the local farm, park and soft plays, football, baking and games indoors to promote the childrens creativity and imagination.
I am looking for full or part time work (minimum of 16 hours), to look after children in their home, I am willing to take to school and pick up and also do housekeeping if needed.
I am confident, uses initiative, good communication skills, fun loving and has a passion to want to work with children and give them a good start in life.
In the past I have provided a variety of different activities and games, from children showing of their creative skills and using their imagination.
I have provided activities for the children to express themselves through dance and movement.
I feel it is also important for the children to have outdoor time, (acting out the story going on a bear hunt)
