I am currently at New College Durham studying a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. I chose to study this subject as I would like work in the NHS. I have two years of experience at St. John's Ambulance where I learned first aid, how to use a defibrillator, and how put people in the recovery position. In my last year of secondary school, I worked with a group called Humanutopia which helps prevent bullying and discrimination. This group also brings people together as a team as well as making them realising the importance of being kind to others and supporting friends in need. In addition to this, I have over 400 hours of work experience working in Early Years at Belmont Cheveley Park Primary School, where I worked with members of staff, and children aged 3-4 years old. I have also grown up with my Mother being a child-minder where I have helped her to look after children aged from 6 months to 11 years old. My experience working with children has allowed me to understand how children develop and learn, and how to cope in various situations
