Thank you for looking at my profile. I have recently moved to Southsea from Liphook, Hant's.

I have 3 adult sons, so I am free to travel as I have no dependents.
I am a fully trained and qualified maternity nurse. I have experience of looking after children of all ages 0-16 as a nanny and have many checkable references.

I am looking for maternity nurse /nanny positions (live in or out) and temporary positions ie as a proxy parent, holiday nanny. If your usual nanny is sick or on holiday I can fill in.
Any families looking for a full/part time nanny considered.

I am mature, hard working, happy, easy going and able to adapt to different families. I have an up to date DBS, first aid certificate and nanny insurance and many checkable references.

I have worked as an after school nanny for different families. My duties included - cooking a meal from fresh ingredients, helping with homework, preparing school bags for the next day, polishing shoes, taking by car to after school activities (Rainbows, piano lessons, art classes, swimming, fencing, rugby, football etc). Also playing with children- colouring, drawing, painting, play dough, dressing up box, Lego and boxed games. I love to teach children to sew and knit and crochet- schools usually teach the basics and I can add to their skills.
I am available during school holidays and have taken children to Legoland and theme parks. I enjoy taking children to the beach - with their buckets and spades and to the park to run around. I also am happy to arrange play dates and to have baking sessions. I enjoy cooking and involving children in making healthy choices.

I have an up to date first aid certificate, Nurturing Birth certificate, Maternity nurse certificate, Food health and safety certificate and a clean full driving licence.
