Hello, I am Alice. I have a strong passion working with children, ever since I started working at 16 years of age I have primarily worked within child focused jobs. I currently work within a Childcare Nursery; however, I strive to expand my experience to broaden my knowledge through entering into independent childcare. I am a fast learner and committed to everything that I pursue. I readily embrace any challenge that come my way and seek out any opportunity that gives me the opportunity to learn and develop as an individual.

My time at university prepared me for this role by requiring a great deal of self discipline, commitment, organisation and impeccable time management. As a student I pursued a great deal of independent research and group projects that required strong communication skills. I have pursued a variety of jobs, which have required me to work both as part of a team and independently; dealing with a wide variety of situations requiring a range of skills.

However, more importantly, I am a very caring, giving individual whose passion lies with working with children. I am very patient and feel I am able to deal with a large range of situations with good communication skills both at an adult and child level. Whilst working within child care settings, baby sitting, tutoring and also having two younger sisters of my own, this has catered me with a vast amount of experience in dealing with challenging situations. I am a very active individual, I love music (I sing and play the violin), sport (I Swim and Run) and adore the outdoors.

I adore caring for children, having the chance to meet a variety of families and having the opportunity to have a positive impact on children's growth and development as individual's; ensuring they are fully nurtured having their individual needs catered for and making their day to day life fun, exciting and fulfilling.
