Lauren, childcare in Rednal

Dear Parents and Guardians,
My is Lauren , I am 16 years of age and i believe i have a great deal to offer.
I enjoy working with children as the next person does. I have good experience with children and i have just started a child care course with halesowen college. With my experience i have a younger brother and 2 cousins. My 2 cousins have disabilites. 1 has autism and the other has down syndrome so i am very aware in special needs. I would describe myself as very creative since i have taken part in subjects at school such as Drama and Music.
When i was at school i visited an infant school called "Cherry Oak". This was a school for children with various disabilities and i learnt new skills such as Co-ordination and Sign language. Throughout my school career i have been punctual and having 100% attendance since the start of the year. I am very organised and
smartly dressed and always eager to try new activities. While at secondary school i have been involved in lots of Extra- curricular activities such as Rowing club,
Drama club and Band club.I also take part in Girls brigade which is a company who
show children what christianity is all about and they tell bible storys to them. I am also aware of other religious cultures such as Muslim.I have also taken part in D.of.E and have completed my bronze expedition.. I also have been involved with NCS which is a service to help give back to the public. I have passed my health
and safety food award and have even got a 3 star chef award. I think i would be a great
aspect as i am a confident and sociable young lady who works hard and isn't afraid of trying new things.
