My name's Chloe. I'm 19 years old and am studying for a Psychology degree at the University of Sheffield, which is why I'm looking for a maximum of 8 hours work a week.
Within my subject, I really enjoy Developmental Psychology (which is about the processes all children go through to become an adult, such as movement, language and play).
I've so far enjoyed volunteering as a Keyworker for disabled children (aged 7-14), working as a Playworker at a holiday club (aged 4-13) and having a weeks experience in a primary school (aged 4-11). This has inspired me to want to become a primary school teacher after I graduate. I also have younger step siblings whom I occasionally take care of (aged 7, 11 and 16).
I am a very patient, enthusiastic and understanding person which is why I find it easy to make special bonds with children of lots of different ages. I also find that they really bring out the best in me, and I have so much fun working with them. My favourite thing to do with children is arts and crafts activities, as I'm quite creative! I also like playing parachute games, Twister and going to the park.
