Una, childcare in South beddington

I am a positive, hard-working and determined person who is passionate about children’s learning and development and I am always willing to learn new things. I have significant experience in working with and caring for children at Foundation Stage (0-5). This has been gained through working in my role as an Early Years Educator, (nursery nurse) and also at a Pre-School, as Teaching Assistant in Reception at primary school, and as an Ofsted registered Childminder. The Ofsted report of my childcare provision for ‘helping children achieve well and enjoy what they do’ was deemed to be outstanding.
During this time I have worked with children with a range of special needs including behavioural, emotional and social difficulties, including ADHD, Family Bereavement, Autism, and Speech and language difficulties.
I have during my previous roles, and in my current role worked with families from various social, economic and cultural backgrounds. By treating each individual with dignity and respect I have built relationships with these families by spending time listening to their concerns, acknowledging their difficulties and making time for parents and carers when required. Also by sharing positive experiences with them and encouraging involvement in family days i.e. craft fairs, fun days, and workshops. I have worked for over 14 years with children and their families and I have a strong affinity with them being able to build relationships that promotes mutual respect and trust.

I am looking for a Nanny role where I can bring all of my previous experience, knowledge and skills.
