Leigh, childcare in Tipton

My name is Leigh Cook, I am currently 18 years old and studying nursing at the University of Wolverhampton. First of all I am a motivated individual, even if things don't go to plan the first time, I always strive to make it right and portray the best outcome. I am very passionate about helping others, whether this is through work or at home.
I am always on time, if not early. I love everything to be at it's best standards, including myself. As well as a passion for helping people, I have an interest in cars, beauty and walking my dogs. In my spare time I enjoy driving, I hold a full UK driving license and own my own car. I own an Audi A1 sport, however my goal is to eventually own a BMW m3, as I love both the aesthetic and performance of the car. I have also participated in work experience at Summerhill’s Little Treasures nursery in Tipton, throughout this experience, I helped the staff at the nursery as well as helping the children who were ages 3-5. I believe this has helped my self-confidence with working within groups as well as being independent with responsibilities with people of different ages. During this experience I helped children with their number work, spelling, colouring and listening skills. I supervised both outdoor and indoor activities. I also had the responsibility of handing out meals at breakfast, lunch and snack time for the children. I found this work experience challenging but in a good way, the early mornings helped me with my time management and I also found myself a lot more alert and motivated throughout this placement. I believe this shows I am capable of being patient, being organised and leading groups - no matter the age of the people.
