Michelle, childcare in Weston-super-mare BS23

Hi my name is Michelle, I am a mum of four grown up children with the last one just finishing colleague and moving on to new adventures. I am happy to look after children ages 3 to 11, from Monday to Fridays . I am a very energetic lady who enjoys spending time around young people, developing their social and emotional skills, encouraging them to engage in physical activities while encouraging , healthy eating, to support their well-being. I have experience in planing tasks around the children's needs, and engaging in craft activities, I am more then happy to collect children from nursery or school, and do light house work. I hold an NVQ in childcare development and worked as a deputy leader in a pre school setting for 13 years, communicating with parent carers and other professionals, I attended regular training courses for SEN, first aid, health and safety, safeguarding, which would all now need updating as have ran out. I followed the the EYFS to support the children's learning and held regular staff meetings to discuss all the children's needs and create new ideas for tasks , I have been involved in outside tasks of planting, asult courses, providing the children with materials to create dens, towers, outside kitchen, mark making, painting, bug collecting, sand water, etc. Inside I would join in with imaginary play as well as engaging in , painting, craft ideas, messy play such as gloop, exploring pasta, rice, dressing up, stories, music, and many more.
