My name is Amy. I am 26 years old and currently live with my partner in our own flat in Ipswich.
I am currently looking for work as a babysitter for various reasons. The main reason is I feel very experienced with taking care of and entertaining children. I am an auntie 10 times with all ages. The youngest I look after is a 1 and 2 year old which are 2 of my nephews. The oldest I look after is a 13 year old. I have experience in young children and teenagers.
I studied Childcare at school and it was my favourite subject. I learned all about children's development skills and how to encourage their learning abilities. This is why I enjoy babysitting. I like encouraging people to learn and be a positive role model for them. I have been babysitting all ages since I was 13. This shows I have 13 years experience.
As well as looking after my nieces and nephews I have looked after my friends children and friends of friends and these references are available upon request.
I also like to bake in my spare time and cook various dinners both vegetarian and meat dishes. I highly encourage healthy eating, although there are days in which I prefer basic meals.
I am able to cook, clean, babysit and help with homework of necessary.
I also enjoy playing games in which motivate children's minds depending on the age. For a toddler it would be reading books and I spy for example. For older children I would play games such as junior Monopoly and Connect 4 to stimulate there minds and for teenagers I would play games such as Monopoly for math skills and card games.
