Olivia, childcare - L3 Liverpool

My name is Olivia, I have two full years experience as an au pair as well as other voluntary childcare experience and am currently looking to babysit around my university schedule.

I have recently returned to the UK after spending 2 years as an au pair for a french family in Paris. Duties included: looking after French speaking children aged 2-6 after school regularly during the afternoon, planning fun activities/trips, helping with homework, following an evening routine and often organising bed times. On some occasions, I would look after the children for up to 12 hours and this would mean building a positive relationship with the children so that they felt safe, happy and cared-for even in the absence of their parents.

I am very focused on creating a happy, caring and playful environment, while also able to make quick, firm and appropriate decisions in order to protect the welfare of the child/children.
