Jasmine, childcare in Lancaster

I am 19, in my first year of university at University of Cumbria, studying Working with Children and Families for 3 years. I love working and spending time with children because it’s so enjoyable to watch them play, laugh and grow over-time. I’ve worked in a Kindergarten, but sadly no longer working there because of my hair. They are very eager for me to start back when I go back a natural colour, so I look professional. I’m looking for a part-time babysitting or child care job which I can fit around my university hours. I am a very organised person, I also make sure I devise the time to complete things I set out to achieve. I can also manage my time effectively, while also being patient and collective when there is a sudden change of plans. I can adapt appropriately to different situations I’m faced with, always staying professional throughout. Two of my best skills are listening to other people and using my initiative quickly when needed. I have a good command of English and I ensure that I’m fully understood by people or children I speak to by repeating myself or rephrasing my sentences to suit the needs of others. In my spare time or rather what I do for fun, I like to watch films, listening to music, arts and crafts, play video games, read and spend time with my guinea pigs and my friends and family.
