Leanne, childcare in Liverpool

I am leanne 24 years old who lives in the liverpool area.
I am a mature, responsible, reliable and cheerful person with excellent childcare and interpersonal skills, a level 3 BTEC national in child care, and 2:1 degree in Childhood Studies. I have extensive experience as a mother’s helper looking after three children aged 6 months, 4 years and 8 years. This position included helping with day to day jobs around the house and supporting the children’s development, play and social skills. I also have experience working in both nurseries and schools working with children aged from 5 months to 12 years. I enjoy working with children and to help to support and encourage their development. My work experience to date is varied as it consists of working in schools, nurseries and a crèche. When doing my BTEC National Diploma in Child Care I did over 1000 hours of work experience half of this was in a school working with children ages from 4-6 years and the other half was in nursery working with children aged from 6 months to 4 years. My time was mainly spent with the young children between 6 months and 2 years, I helped out with the daily running of the nursery. One of the main things that I contributed to was to organise a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children. I worked at Leicester City Football Club. Within this job I organised and ran the crèche for every home match. The children I work with were aged between 1-10 years, with this age different I had to produce activities suitable for a mixture of ages. Whilst workings here I worked with a girl who was 15. I helped her and supported her working with her as part of a team and in a supervisory capacity. Since then I have worked at St Lukes School when I came home from university in the summer and other holidays working with children from 4- 10 years.
