Katie, childcare in Liverpool L5

I am 24 years old from Colwyn Bay, North Wales. I moved to Liverpool in March 2019 to attend university, and have been here ever since.

I have previoisly worked at Ysgol Cynfran where I was a Teaching Assistant for children in year 2 and 5 as well as a part time assistant at Ysgol Eirias for individuals who required additional support. In my time at those two schools I worked with a large variety of individuals and was put in many different situations. I would take out small groups for lessons, help pupils in a one-to-one session, and generally assist the whole class where needed. I have held PE lessons individually, and worked to help the class as a whole (walking around to see who needs help with spelling and so on).

I am studying Paediatric Nursing at University so I have a valid DBS Check which I am happy to bring with me to jobs for you to see. As part of my degree I am also Adult and Paediatric CBR trained, and this is updated yearly.

I have volunteered with St John's Ambulance for around 8 months, and have since taken time away before returning to university January 2023. I have always enjoyed working with children and making others happy makes me happy, so I feel babysitting would be a good choice for me.

I am self-sufficient and dependable and happy to work around you, in most cases I am able to provide care on short notice but please do try to contact me in advance. The further in advance I am contacted, the more likely I am to be available.

I am also considered to be an overall caring person with "maternal instincts", and have always been told that I am good with children. This is one of many factors that led to me wanting to work with children and young people.
