Shannon, childcare in Loscoe

Hello,

My name is Shannon, I am 19 years old. I would like to say I am a caring, mature and patient individual.

I have devoted the last 3 years of my life to developing my abilities, with the mindset of offering personal, friendly and supportive childcare. As such, I hold a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, as well as a Paediatric First Aid Qualification at Level 2. My education has made me strive to make a positive difference towards the lives of young people. I am also in possession of a DBS Certificate (02/06/15).

While I was attending college I undertook a variety of placements, therefore I have experiences with school's and nursery environments. In my work experience I have planned and carried out activities tailored to individual child's needs. I have nurtured allocated groups of children who needed extra support through praise, encouragement and constructive feedback. Also assessing children's learning and identifying their next stage of development.

Additionally I've worked over a year at Orchard Lea Nursery and Pre-school. I babysat for one child who attended the nursery and enjoyed the 1-1 environment. Due to me working part time, I was rotaed into various age ranges so I have experienced a variety of job roles, including nappy changing, sleep routines, feeding, bottle making, potty and toilet training.
